Asus 5770 Geting Hot

Hey Guys I have a Asus 5770 ati Gpu..For past few days i was playing mafia 2 the game was lagging.when i checked the temp of my card it was very hot 104 c.i am worried please help me out to overcome this problem.
I have changed the thermal paste attached multiple fans to it but nothing happens... i have heard from people that 5770 is a really a Cool Card but my one is not...

if its still in warranty put it in for claim, my friends 9800GT gave the same problem that his card reached 98 on even light games like tales of monkey island and sam and max games so he gave it in for warranty and turns out the card was defective I HIGHLY recommend you give it in for warranty claim. unless your room is a furnace those temps are IMPOSSIBLE to achieve in a game =| even my 9800GTX+ with fan speed at 40% came to 75 at highest during crysis =/

thermal paste changed.....extra fans...... warranty? :(

have you tried cranking the fan speed to 100%? you can use rivatuner to help you with this

I have tried this too....The thing is The Company has designed the card in a way in which the normal fan speed makes it cool....they dont recommend increasing the speed of the fan through riva tuner or msi afterburner

Lol. Turn the fan speed up to something like 80% and check your temps.

IT dosent' matter, theres something wrong. your card should idle at 40c at 35% fan speed

slow fan speed = better cooling then FAST fan speed =/ ... good logic =P
