Yea PS2 controllers that are original are very sturdy... My friend has one for 8 years and it still works fine ...

I will consider that. But where should I look for a New Original PS2 controller? And where to get the adapter?
Well u can find it on pg market by making wtb thread and for adapter u can get it from local market though they r very rare and i only could find it in one shop for 350rs, expensiv but its justified acording to the need.

Ask this person if he is selling contr wid adapter.

The 5 year old six-axis from my yloded PS3 still works just right. (sm1)

No charging issues either. Works flawlessly with motionjoy. Buy analog stick caps to protect the rubber wear-off if you find them, That's it.

My Six-axis controller is almost 5 years old, and works just fine. It is very light, so you won't get wrist injuries from its constant use. It's also medium sized and is fit for majority of hands other than the pudgy, ham-sized knockers. Otherwise you'd do fine. If you use it nicely and don't pound it against something to check its sturdiness, it'll function fine.

My PS2 controller is almost 11 years old, and though it has developed some kinks in the wire and the buttons are quite lose now, it still works fine.

Got the PS3 controller from the friend. Its working like a charm through X360ce. But it is not working as intended through MotionInJoy...

Played a bit of Dark Souls killed 3 big guys with ease. I love how responsive the controller is in terms of analog movement. The start/select keys are also working pretty well unlike most controllers. I didn't expect PS3 controller to have bumpers on it like X360 one has... That is good for me because I could play racing games with it as well. It also feels very sturdy, yet light. But it seems somewhat small for my hands. Dunno why because my other one was also the same width as this one. :s Maybe because the controller is so thin and elegant from the middle that it feels small... :)

Overall loving this. Vibration feedback is great to have finally. I have not used Bluetooth on it though, using it through a wire. But I am pleased with it. I am thinking of getting one from Canada for 25-30$. I wish someone could bring it to Pak though :p... They are expensive here :(.

A big thumbs up to the PS3 controller. Only negative point is that its a bit small for my hands.

Also, whats the deal with this SixAxis thingy? I was playing Dark Souls and the PS3 controller kinda gave directional feedback (camera) to the game because of the tilting/rolling/yawing of the controller o_O... Didn't realize that PS3 controller had it just like the Wii Motion Plus controller. How does this normally work in PS3 games? Buying this would help me in playing Persona 4, Wii games, NFS, PES10/FIFA and games like Dark Souls/DMC with ease since they are tailored for controllers (atleast DMC would have much greater compatibility of K&M than Dark Souls -__-).

One more thing: I heard that if the PS3 controller breaks down, you cannot fix it as easily as you can fix X360 controller or the local China ones. I hope that it doesn't break down... I read that opening the controller could make you lose some special mechanisms inside the controller that are very difficult to assemble even if you are extra careful with them :/

Its working pretty amazingly in Far Cry 3 after using MotionInJoy correctly with it! Full X360 controller integration in that game is working very well.

I think it was because the Xinput files were messed up or edited due to X360ce inside the game folder. Because so far it is working perfectly with Far Cry 3, CODBO (and after X360ce's emulation), Dark Souls. Will try Mark Of The Ninja soon... Because my China controller wasn't working fine on it, even after using X360ce because it uses some new form of XInput.

Surprise! It works perfectly in Mark Of The Ninja too! Working very well. I will buy a PS3 one then!

Emulate the controller as a 360 gamepad with motionjoy. Works flawlessly then.

But are they sturdy enough that they will work for a year or so at least? Considering I will play an hour a day average with it.
Yep, they are sturdy, been using one for 2 years now. Played a lot of games, both on PS3 and PC, often up to 7 hours straight. Still good as new. Use motionjoy, works great.
