The latest report on Apple says the company's board is putting pressure on CEO Tim Cook because the lack of innovation in Apple's latest (and probably upcoming) products.
The Fox Business reporter Charlie Gasparino says Apple's board wants the company to come forward with some changes without further delays.

Innovation has gone since steve jobs has gone out of this world. Now, They just skinned old iOS with few new features and named it iOS 7. Same with Iphone5, Iphone4S was last good phone produced by Apple

OK I agree, But iOS still lacks very basic features like FileManager/Bluetooth File Transfer with other Phone etc. What about the other Part "Design" Its almost 4 years since they released IPhone4 & continued releasing same phone over & over with very little update in hardware. Iphone4S has most beautiful design in my opinion. But We are bored with same Design. Its time to change.

This thread is about "INNOVATION", Apple should have comes up with something different, A beautiful Design Like "HTC One" & A revolutionary Camera Lens like "Nokia 1020"

After Checking leaked info & Pictures, I think its not going to Happen :crying: Seems like, they will release another minor Upgrade with different shell & hardware improvements & Millions of Fools will buy this at "Premium Price" & will proudly say that they are most Richest people & Elite Class on Earth. Yes Thats the only thing left in so called "Apple Iphone" You feel proud to have it.

File manager will never be in iOS, you might as well just stop asking for it. That's just not how iOS works. You're confusing it with Android. To ask for it is asking Apple to change one of the fundamental ways iOS works.

Secondly as far as innovation goes you should know from Apple's product history that it has rarely ever been the 'first' at anything. The only real innovation iPhone ever brought was the Retina Display, which was unheard of at that time and it was a significant step forward in display technology. The way Apple usually makes products is that they study industry trends and they improve upon it in their products. That's how the iPod was created, it's how the iTunes store came into being, it's how the iPad was made and it's how the iPhone was invented. So for the board members to ask Apple to create something 'new' is pretty ignorant on their part.

I agree on Bluetooth part but not on file manager bcz Android is an open source platform so file managers can be downloaded from playstore easily while iOS is closed source so apple won't release anything which can access to filesystem btw u can get both Bluetooth (Air blue sharing it uses Bluetooth for smaller files while wifi for larger) & file manager (iFile) through cydia.

iPad was the first Tablet with modern Mobile OS, unlike Windows xp tabs.

atleast it should be quad core so it will worth what people are paying for
i am not talking about screen size
if u talk about screen size then many chinese phones have also 5 inch so size never matters

An iPhone 5 works quite great with a dual-core processor. It runs all the graphic-intensive games just the way a Quad-core S3 does.

Honestly speaking, Bluetooth is still pretty common and NFC is being adopted but at quite a slow rate. There is no need of NFC in the next-gen iPhone. Maybe the next to next iPhone WOULD need it.

NFC is something awesome specially for transfering data just takes seconds to tranfer huge files.
it will adopted more once its available on low end phones.

Well investors are never satisfied lol.
Apple still makes huge profits and this year will be huge for Apple, iPad 5, iPhone 5C or whatever will give boost totheir sales for sure.
And dont forget the iPad mini with retina display.

Im apple fan.. But its right .. Many around the world wait for apple to release some thing new .. But last year apple came up with same design .. Now it feels bored using same old design .. They should give them a changed look .. If they release the phone with same design may be they will loss their reputation
