FutureTech at this point is basically just a sales place. They'll sell you Apple products at exorbitant prices, as if they weren't overpriced to begin with.
Every time you ask them about a service or repair related question, they'll either ignore you, say it isn't possible due to lack of parts, OR ask you for 50,000 rs, and your damaged product and you take a new one from them.

I asked about a battery replacement on my 6S Plus and first the guy said due to IATA regulations, Pakistan isn't allowed to import lithium ion batteries, and then after that he said, we'll take your phone and 50k on top and give you a replacement phone. Mine was working perfectly except for the worn out battery so there was no way in hell I was giving them shit.

You can buy products from them, but don't expect good after sales support.

I'm thinking of buying an iPad with a proper warranty from somewhere I can get decent after sales services in case something goes south. I called up Futuretech and they said they're providing official warranty and shiz.

Any idea where I can genuine apple stuff at sahi prices with decent support? This is the first time I'm buying an apple product and I don't want to have a bad experience.

You won't get good after sales support anywhere. No guarantees if anyone uses original parts if your iPad needs a repair.

All Apple products come with a 1 year warranty anyway, can be claimed at any Apple Store worldwide. There just aren't any here so it's a bit risky.

I don't know how worthwhile FutureTech's warranty actually is.

if that is indeed the case, would you recommend buying a device without the warranty. Its like a 5k difference.

Edit: Also was that the only negative experience youve had with them or have there been others?

Just keep in mind if you get without warranty, FutureTech won't touch that iPad with a 10 ft pole.

Also, 5k difference seems suspicious. Either FutureTech is selling it surprisingly cheap or the guy selling it without warranty is ripping you off.

I've checked a number of sellers.

Galaxy, HSN, Telemart and a number of shops are selling the iPad 6 for about 46-47 without warranty.

There's a guy selling official Apple packed factory unlocked stock with local warranty claimable in Pak for 52k - which is the same as what futuretech is asking for it.

Also, is the experience with the battery the only negative interaction you've had with futuretech or have there been more?

That 5k is up to you, whether or not you feel like spending it.
Just keep in mind the FutureTech one won't have Facetime, but the ones on HSN, Telemart will probably have it, you should confirm with them though.

Another experience would be when my sister's iPhone 7 volume up button stopped working and I asked FutureTech if they could do anything to which they replied 'we don't have parts', so we'll just replace the phone. I didn't ask if they would charge me anything but I knew the replacement unit would NOT have Facetime so I didn't go for it. Then my sister went back to Dubai, had it replaced there where they also gave her a replacement unit without Facetime but she then sold it there and got a new phone.

I don't think FutureTech really has any parts in stock. One could say that the devices I was asking to get repaired were too old, but just a few days ago my friend broke his iPhone X display, and I suggested FutureTech saying they might have OEM parts, he calls them and they said we don't have iPhone X displays available so he'll have to get a new phone.

I called them and asked. They said it does have Facetime.

Thanks for the help! Appreciate it :)
That sounds sketchy. FutureTech doesn't sell products with Facetime.
All the iPhones are the middle East models that don't have it.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
