In Gulshan, yes. Just yesterday I went to Smoke Lounge, its near discovery. Starbuzz and Condition Zero were also open.

Think about it. You don't burn the tobacco/flavour. You bake it. Also, the smoke, or VAPOUR, is filtered through the water before you inhale it. That should explain a lot. Secondly, I have sheesha smokers tell me that the vapour from the sheesha does NOT set off the smoke alarms, which would lead one to believe that it's not smoke that you're taking in, but a form of vapour. So, I don't know. I'm not an expert here, but it doesn't take much to atleast make out that there's definitely money involved somewhere. These cig companies are giant corporations that want you to smoke their brands, and they've had shady pasts. It could be that all this nonsense about sheesha being several times more dangerous is a ruse started by these companies. Someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in as well.

This guy is GG. Everything I wanted to say in a nut shell.

I would however like to add that I smoked for 5 - 6 years and quit at the start of 2011 since then I have been having sheesha and although I'm not saying that it is completely harmless I personally believe it does not harm you as much as cigarettes do. To the people who say that one hookah session is equal to idk 100? 200? gazillion cigarettes? they really need to smoke a hundred cigarettes first.

I'm not saying I smoked like a chimney but the max I have gone is 33 in one day and that alone fucked me up pretty bad. Khair you can never really convince someone who doesn't like it so I think my final argument is that I don't diss your poison so why the fuck are you dissing mine?

My sheesha background
Doing it since 2007, regularly since 2010 and have had ATLEAST one bowl a day for the past year and a half.

Favourite flavor is Afzal Pan Rasna. I do not smoke hookah without it, personally believe that pan rasna is the best flavor ever made. At home I normally use it singularly without any other flavors but some of my preferred mixtures include Panrasna + gum + cinnamon and a little mint on top as well as pan rasna + spearmint + mint + strawberry on top.

Best places for sheesha in karachi? Well I think I have been everywhere and sadly I believe that all the DHA cafes suck. Not even because of the price, they just don't give you what you ask for. However Tariq road fakhir, smookys at johar and damascus at teen talwar are good spots. Kash is pretty good too but I don't see the value 450 for an indoors sheesha not my thing.

Over here I smoke Tangier's, Nakhla, Hookahfina, Al-Fakher and Hydro Herbal, their herbal molasses and also their vapor stones. Other then that I use only coconut coals, mainly Coconaras, or CocoJamras. The main thing is, hookah here is expensive as hell, but I can afford it. I mean theres sheesha lounges nearby with Egyptian hookahs mainly serving Al-Fakher, and stupid instant lite coals. So I just buy my own setup.

I am sure, half of pg must be knowing, i live on sheesha fuel j/k. I can bet you the flavours and mixing in sheesha i add, ppl love it. Coco coals are found at a spot in defence @ 700 rupees for 1/2 kg.

There are a lot of sheesha places on Karachi these days. I usually go to mohd ali. There is a hukka pani, al fakher and kush there. I usually go to kush.
