Its been a while since I ordered from AliExpress
I have heard that customs duty is being charged on everything. Is this true? (I couldn't search this thread to answer this, if you have answered this refer to your post)

A friend told me that cheaper orders get through customs without a hassle
What is the situation these days?

Toys, Cosmetics and clothing/apparel stuff.
No issue.

But if its electronic, expect duty.
If its anything above $100. Do expect a little duty.


Eitherway.
Would be eaiser to see if theres duty if you link a specific item.

The wireless stuff may get stopped by customs. You'll have to deal with a lot of questions when it arrives here.

I ordered a set of arcade joystick on 19 Feb 2019 and till now all I see after every few day is Shipped by Air with a new date. The seller was quick enough to dispatch same day but since then it's nothing but wait.

Yep.
Should end up at your door within the AliExpress holding date.
If it doesnt, Just message him 1 day before the expiration and tell him it didnt reach.

It's a copy of Sanwa. 8 Way joystick. Will be playing KOF (King of fighters) on it.

It's not with the base and it's disassembled so no. My friend ordered earlier although 2 years back and there was no custom so I am hoping the same for me. It's not pricey. just 16 USD.

I bought few computer items from Aliexpress in the past and never had any issues but this time I want to buy an RC Car from there but heard/read that customs officers steal/eat that kind of stuff. Anybody have any idea if there are any options to avoid those customs crooks because these hobby stuff is very rare in Pakistan and I could not find anything I'm looking for. thanks

Guys how long does it take to recieve your order in Karachi? I’ve ordered something over two weeks ago and although the eta on the aliexpress app is until 21 April - 1 May, some people told me that you usually get your package within 2 weeks.
