I have studied 45 mins before my uni papers and still secured A. lol Big whoop.
It depends on the subject. Engg subjects are not easy, they require a lot of practice and of course the understanding of concepts.

@ Darklordmalik I WAS talking about English, and Maths. For maths, all I do is go through the formulas, and practice one or two problems in the morning before paper. lol I have always secured A in English and Maths, and even in Islamic studies in Uni. I have only two Bs' in four semesters, and I plan on getting them changed.

As of now those brain-dead monkeys at IBCC haven't even tried to understand this new A* grading system, most likely what they'll do is make A* equivalent to what was previously A, make A equivalent to what was previously B and so on, this is an easy way out, and I think that's the option they'll take. If they do, then we're all screwed badly!
I think IBCC have come to their senses now. A* is now equivalent to 95 (or 90 at least) while A is equivalent to 85. I read this in the Jang newspaper dated 26th August, page 5. Still they haven't updated their website

Iam an A level student who is doing Alevels privately.Iam in 2nd year and I got A B B in physics maths and chemistry in my A1.Now heres whats bothering me.

My friend who got straight As in Alevels science subjects went to give his GIKI entry test and f'ed it up.He said that it was all based on inter and that it wasn't remotely close to Alevel.I didnt believe him at first but when I checked out GIKI's pastpapers,I saw the same trend.Same was the case with NUST,NED and UET.

Being an aspiring engineering student,Iam really worried what will happen for me.I cant afford universities in canada and america(who can?) and the entry tests here comprise of inter content.

What do i do?I really want to go to a good uni.I was aspiring for GIKI and NUST but the entry tests are all inter based. You guys suggest what should i do.Is there any other option left for me?
Hey,I just graduated from EME college NUST.If you want my advice you can give your SATs and then apply through that score. They have specific seats for that.Contact me if you need any further help

i was an A level student and i got into giki + nust + fast for engineering but i came over to canada as i can afford it...lol....anyways, get inter books and preparre for entry tests using it as soon as u r done with ur A2 exams. Also, get entry test preperation series by rana academy, its good help and has type of questions tht normally comes in entry tests.
