Ainol tablets.. do they worth ?

a simple question... do ainol tabs are good? good in all aspects? as shown in most of there specs, they got dual cores and mali gpu and blah blah screen.. do they really worth a money? help me as my elder brother is deciding to get one but i am stopping him cause of Chinese label. i dont hate china ka maal but fear that they just stop working anytime. and yes, how is the devs support?

i have a Ainol novo 10 hero.. and i think it worth the money. n about the dev support cm10 is available unofficialy which runs quit nice.. cm10.1 (jellybean4.2) is also there but not as much stable as cm 10. slatedroid.com is best site for these chinese tabs.

I have aurora ii in fact posting from it, but bought it for 14k like 6months back, brilliant touch, screen is great, works smooth and good dev support at slated road. Any ainol product over 13k is worth it Imo.

The creaking happens with all Hero's, happens with mine as well. It put me off when I went to try it out the first time, though its not a big issue. I think it's a result of how the glass and aluminium body is fitted together.
I've had two instances where 20% of my screen portion would fail to detect any touches, that also in different places. This was resolved by restarting the device. Apart from that sometimes the tablet does it stuck, but not so often that it becomes an annoyance. Apart from these things I've been really happy with my Ainol tablet.

It's one of the most reliable tablet from among the Chinese manufactures. Dev support on XDA is limited. You should hit up slatedroid.com for the tablet scene.

i was spending 20k On chinese tablet with JellyBean so i stretched the budget more and prefered GOOGLE NEXUS 7 8GB later on i got to know 16Gb is of 25K
so went for it
I would recommend spending on better brand than these

I agree with your suggestion if you have a 20k budget and you want a great 7 inch tablet then the Nexus 7 is the obvious choice. But if you are looking for a 10 inch tablet in that budget then these Chinese tabs are going to do just fine.

battery amazing
screen amazing
movie playback amazing
web browsing good
new version skype not compatible have to use older version
although great gpu still not that good gaming
front cam ok
wifi reception average
JB smoothness not as good as my nexus but still good
speakers amazing

with 2 days in hand i had to press reset button once to revive but overall a good device for movies and browsing.

What do u mean by that reset button you mean it software start to act weird so you had to restart it to get back on track ?

no it refused to turn on in morning .. its a known bug in ainol kernal after reset button inside mic hole it booted fine

Thankfully I didn't go for ainol I would be worried if I was facing such issues would have end up selling it and loosing money
