6pin Pci-e power cables issue Help plz

Hey,
I just bought Silverstone 650w psu. its sli ready so it has 4 x 6pin pci-e power cables. Basically there are only 2 pcie power cables, each has a 6 pin connecter at bout 80% of its length then another one at 100% length i.e at the end.

Now i only have 1 card that is gtx 260. my question is should i just use one cable and plug both its 6 pin in the card or
should i use both cables and plug 1 6pin each from each cable

you could do any it wont make that much of a difference but if possible use the differenet cables!

as silverdrag said... Two seperate supplies are better if the cards are very high on power consumption.such as 4870 x2 or 4890 OC...If its a pair of low consumption cards the yo can use same...In fact the powersupply should state how much maximum power each rail can deliver.

Single wire will not cause any problem, i can opt for any option.

it has 4 x 12v rails and gives total of 56A on 12v rail if that helps

ummm 13+18+16+8 = 55A ... sorry not 56

u cant add AMPERES of v1 v2 v3 ... like that .. its just 42amp and 45amp peak .. it have 504w on 12v rail so 504/12 = 42am ... (w/v=I ) 650x.775(efficiency) =504w on 12v rail ..

^^ NOT AGAINNNNNNNNNN efficency is the amount of power the PSU delivers divided by the power it USES up from the socket
