360 causing alot of problems

Ok my 360 has been acting really weird for the last couple of months and its driving me crazy...ok the problem began when i got a 120 GB hard drive to use on my old PRO 360. It was working fine when i got it so i starting downloading/ installing alot of games/mappacks/xbla games, but then it started getting very slow.

After that i just deleted all the installed 360 games from my HDD. But still my 360 kept lagging. And the lag was sort of a texture lag where the draw distances were reduced and the texture popping was rediculous, And this was happening in all the games. So i thought that there was something wrong with the HDD so i disconnected it and i still have the same problem while playing without the HDD or my old HDD. So i thought that maybe my 360 had gotten RRODed twice and that was causing the problems.

So i bought a new arcade JAsper 360 and i am having the same problem with it. Please help me out. how the hell do i get this texture popping to go away. I have never had such issues before with my 360.. Also some games are not working on my new jasper that work on my old one like Oblivion. Can some one also explain what is up with that.

Anyways ill be really greatful if you can help me out with this problem as i am having the problem on two seperate consoles. I dont know if its the disc drive or not, could be. I tried alot of stuff already like clearing my cache and that dosent help either. Your suggestions will be appreciated.

The games problem could probably be because of regions, What region was your old pro?

Can you tell us the names of the few games you're having this problem with the most?

And from what I have experienced, and RROD fixed Xbox 360 performs perfectly normal until it RROD's again. Further, the signs of RROD are random freezes during gameplay, as in the game will get stuck and your Xbox 360 will stop responding completely and you'll have to reset it.

Right now i can only say that its either faulty Storage device, weak DVD drive lens or the game is being played on cheap DVDs (Melody, Cherry, Verbatim)

i posted on the general 360 FAQ thread like you said...And as for the regions...both consoles have NTSC-J....all other games are working fine except oblivion and Halo2...those are the only games not running now...

All my games are running slow....i usually play COD4 and WAW and both have the same problem...i think its kind of worse on the map packs because its running from the HDD. I also noticed that battlefield 1943 was also really bad....apart from that all my games have the lag like l4d, gta4 etc....

I dont think it can be a faulty storage device as i tried running the games on both the consoles with and without the HDD and its still runs the same. Im not too sure about the weak lens either because its happening on both of my consoles which is really strange... And i am using malaysian DVDs for all the games that i mentioned above. I think i bought 3 or 4 copies of COD4 thinking maybe there was something wrong with the DVD but its the same on all of them
