No doubt looks great but, is there a point to all this space/procedural generation? I mean I hope its more than just a 'technical demo'. Story, gameplay, something..anything?
First, this is not a game. Its a space/ universe simulator, you have the option of traversing through the known universe, planets and stars with accurate information that has already been catalogued by NASA. I've searched and found nearly 300 of the most well known cataloged stars and the planets in the milky way.

What you're looking for won't be found here, because its something this free program never claimed to be. Maybe try it yourself and you'll get my meaning, but I'm suspecting you probably won't, and that's totally fine with me.

And to be honest, screenshots don't do justice to it. You have freedom of either using free mode, starship or an aircraft. You can either orbit a star or a planet, land on it and watch the time lapse of day and night cycles by speeding up time. You can even reverse time if you wish. You can just click on any point you see in the background and travel to everyone one of them up close and personal.

This simulator has been around for a long time, and has been worked on by just a single guy. As always, fans of astronomy will understand what I'm getting at. Its that close to reality portrayal of our universe which got so many hooked to this.

What good is a story here, when all you need is to travel and explore.

So basically as I said before, it is a technical demo. I was under impression that this was related to a game..oh well.

I never claimed it was a game, nor it will be. That's all there is to it I'm afraid :)

Shouldn't this thread be sticky? @Mods?

Anyways, some Risen 3 - Titan Lords

Expected so much more. Thoroughly dissapointed.
And some AC4
