Thanks for the reply guys. i think i got it and if there is anything else i am just gonna ask again. I did watch all of Vesper arcade's vids. i think it just went over my head but i am getting hang of all this now.

Experience is the best teacher. Play online as much as you can and your game will improve leaps and bounds.

Today I went to Amir's Bhai place and also met the Lahori gang. It was full of excitement to say the least. Whether it was seeing Asad's yun at play, Dirty uncle pulling off nice SPDs, Jawad's aggressive pressure or Amir Bhai showing his Bison/Cody skills and footsies it was really fun while it lasted. I also met some other guys as well but I'm sorry I can't recall their name. However, I had an awesome time and will be looking forward to meeting you guys again. Thanks to Amir Bhai for inviting us over to his house for the meet up,

If you have some good SF replays saved send it to me...I wanna show it to my friend , hes a decent player from USA ...one of those fanatics who attend evo every year...and he wants to see how my friends play in Pakistan. We may not be pros but we are atleast at an intermediate level...so i am confident he will be impressed

The replay should NOT be of you bodying some poor sod...the match has to be interesting. Now i may have a match saved or two.... but i really want some good replay in which both players played phenomenally.

I just wanna put my best foot forward and show him a good match instead of our online lagfest tournie videos...

or lets hold a meetup and record some good matches to show off...

Faraz? Hassan? Saad?....got any matches?

How many of you guys here play on the PC? I have a nayatel connection but there's always a bit of input lag....ping value is high too, around 250. What ping values do you guys get and what's stable to run the game?

Dont play it on pc yet , but i will be getting it soon enough bro. got a xbox and ps3 and i think anything under 100 is recommended

It works bro i mean if your holding the stick in d/b motion so basically your blocking, if you can manage to slide the stick on the sides from d/b,d,df,d,df it will come out as a DP. The engine will register that as a d/f,d/f input. I just tried it in practice mode cos for a moment i thought i got it wrong but it works although i never do that motion . For me F,d,df seems more easy. do try it in practice mode the motion i just wrote and lemme know of course i can be wrong .

Try hitting d/f, d/f ONLY + punch and see if a Shoryuken comes out; I guarantee it won't. lol The game needs at least 3 inputs for the DP motion, d/f, d/f would only be two.

d/f d/f not register as 2 inputs it register as 4 inputs f ,d , f , d and that because of different buffer system of sf4 (because of that buffer system sf has so much option selects )even i dont know that little time ago i came to know it when i got stick (even u can do punch into DP by pressing button once that is called negative edge may be u know that )... if u do d/f+mk d/f+hp then low mid kick and then dp will come out and i tried it several time but u have to do it quickly not super quickly but quick enough ... same think will not work in other games like kof where u have to give complete inputs

That sounds correct , it works though . Thank you for correcting me on the engine recognition part. Now this what i call a good community

About posting the matches , is there any other way rather then buying a video capture card. Wats the best card out there and if there is anyother way do share guys ( apart from recording the repays with a mobile cam or a digi cam)

bf+bf or df+df works, and i use that all the time, its very good to anti-air that way

Good games with iron and asad last night. Gawd my game with dudley has gone from crap to 50 levels below crap was totally dominated by iron's and asad's ping pong dual.

tell me about it man i guess playing on stick requires a 24/7 practice only if u want to play your A game, i haven't played proper offline since a month last time i checked my game was Z in my A form, now its in minus today's epic BBQ + meetup at Hasham's.. man wish if i can win at least win 1 match, of course i wont stand a chance against 24/7 SSFIV extreme players ummm... but just 1 game lol

'k, I have a question, guys... How long did it take you guys to transition from pad to stick? I'm finally getting a Qanba Q4 for my birthday today. I've been playing at the arcade, but I've really been having trouble using the arcade stick; to be honest, it feels like it would take months for me to get as good with an arcade stick (even if I have one at home) as I am with a pad. Is it really THAT tough, or is there just an initial hump I'll have to get over?
