120gb HDD not detected?

ok so im having this prob ii searched the net so couldnt find a decent answer
i borrowed this 120gb elite hdd from my friend which he wasnt using
i hve an arcade jasper but when i connect it properly
it only shows the internal memory in the memory units
so wht seems to be the prob

Either the HDD itself doesn't work, or there is some problem with the HDD connector either on the HDD or the Xbox360 itself.

got a new 360 so cant be the xbox and tried it on friends wasnt working

Well, it depends. If the HDD itself is broken, then it can't be fixed. But if there is some problem with the HDD casing and its connector, then by replacing the HDD case, the problem can be fixed.

tried it on 2 360s man thts cant be the probbb
hmmm where shld i give it so see if its fixable or not
