The found-footage franchise Paranormal Activity earned its horror stripes with now-iconic scares and a continually unfolding demon mythology, featuring the simply-named ‘Toby.’ Since its debut in 2009 the franchise has established a shared universe of sorts by connecting all five films in the series including last year’s spinoff, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. The upcoming sixth film, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, will feature a new family – and answers to old questions.
Christopher Landon, writer and director of The Marked Ones already confirmed that The Ghost Dimension will tie into the spinoff. Now, the film’s producer has spoken more about how the film will do so, claiming it will be the final Paranormal Activity feature.

USA Today released four new images of The Ghost Dimension that depict the newest family to be visited by the demon Toby. The Fleeges – newcomer Chris J. Murray as Ryan, Brit Shaw (Nashville) as Emily, and Ivy George (Curse of Slender Man) as their daughter Leila – move into a new house where they discover (unsurprisingly) a video camera and tapes in the garage.
Series editor Gregory Plotkin directed The Ghost Dimension, which will focus on the Fleeges as they discover the paranormal activity surrounding them through the found camera’s lens. According to the film’s producers, the camera footage will be displayed in 3D, explaining why The Ghost Dimension is finally making the leap to the format.

Additionally, series producer Jason Blum discussed the fact that despite the ongoing success of the relatively low-budget series, The Ghost Dimension will conclude the franchise. As the final film, Blum said it will answer many questions about the demonic mythology that have arisen from previous installments, including what Toby actually looks like.
“It’s coming to an end. This is it, the finale. We’re saying it before the movie opens. We’re not going to grind this horror franchise into the ground. This will keep ‘Paranormal Activity’ as part of this culture and this particular time in a really fantastic way… We couldn’t go just teasing. All the questions that everyone has asked from the past ‘Paranormal Activity’ films: What does Toby look like? What’s the backstory to the families? These questions have been teased out. Now they will be answered.”
Some may disagree with Blum that the Paranormal Activity series has yet to be driven “into the ground” since The Ghost Dimension will be the sixth overall installment in the franchise. Additionally, The Marked Ones seemed to further remove the series from its typical scares in favor of establishing the universe’s mythos. However, fans of Paranormal Activity who have stuck with and enjoyed the series thus far will likely have a certain amount of payoff to look forward to in The Ghost Dimension. While previous installments may have simply teased or skirted around the paranormal elements of the universe, it seems the final film will offer real answers.
Whether or not that will allow the finale to appeal to casual moviegoers and fans of the series alike remains to be seen. But, that being said, surely many hope The Ghost Dimension will deliver even more scares than its predecessors.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

  • Aciel Aciel:
I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
