Ah right. Actually, that's what I felt as well. The pop-out effect was almost non-existent with PC games using 3D vision. The 'staring through a window' effect was still there, though. On a couple of forums, I noticed people suggesting Tridef 3D as a superior alternative. Tried it out, and there is definitely a difference. Not just in terms of depth, but also in terms of the pop-out effect. While still not as good as PS3 3D games, the effect was noticeable in games like Sonic Generations. I highly recommend giving Tridef 3D a try. It doesn't work well with all games, but when it works, it's definitely better than 3d vision.
