Mainly because Canon has more manual options for video even in low end cameras like 550D and 600D. Nikon gets better after D7000 and above.

Acha,That... I use that but didn't know its name PLUS this cam of mine doesn't allow the aperture to be changed manually... The whole experience of this cam is quite mummy daddy.. I might sell it soon and move to a semi-professional Cam... Although there is an option where you can manual focus by touching the screen where u want to focus
