A Prince of Persia remake is going to be announced next week, according to rumors circulating online.


Speaking on the Triple Click podcast, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who has proven to be extremely reliable, revealed that a Prince of Persia remake is going to be announced during next week's Ubisoft Forward. You can find the relevant segment at around the 27-minute mark of the podcast.

Both SoT & WW were my personal favorites.

This remakes reeks of sheer laziness at Ubisoft's part

This game has soooooo many memories for me. I remember being astounded the first time i saw this game. The wall running mechanic was unheard of back then and it was so damn pristine the way it carried out. I remember my PC not being to play this game and I begged my parents to get me a PS2 just so i could play this.. And Whatta game it was. The followup Warrior within was also freaking amazing.

yes the whole trilogy was an epic experience for its time.
