    I see what youre inferring lol but i choose to ignore it lol. =P and im from Peshawar (lol), living in Abbotabad and studying in Islamabad lol...
    And yar both the 360 and ps3 are now hackable to play pirated games and online, i have my pc for that.... Thats why the decision is so confusing. =(

    well yes you can mod games, not as easily as on pc though!... haven't tried it myself, though i do download already modded game executable files!
    regarding ur hdd query yes that's what i'm doing!. actually the isos are even converted to rips which can be anywhere 30-80% of the iso's size itself!... though downside is that you need to make a partition is fat32 format.
    and yeah you're pretty much right regarding xlink kai!

    but the downside to all this is... you need to search for one, and tell you what it's not easy they're getting rarer by the day!
    though i suppose your 360 won't be jtagable anyways...

    ah many in fact these!:

    1.playing disc free!
    2.connect big hdd like 1tb and play games from it.
    3. play xbl arcade games and dlcs FREE
    4. control temperature of ur 360 and other aspects, and install themes etc
    5. play through alternate live service! :p (xlink kai)
    6. play games of any region!
    7. modding games, playing private betas etc
    8. etc etc.!

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
