    The laptop is with my father and he is in village, I can give you battery model number and specs exactly so you can trace the appropriate battery...take your time i have no hurry, when you get the battery let me know we will exchange the battery's no questions asked.

    The exact model number for the battery is Toshiba PA3588U-1BAS
    I will also confirm this with you by tonight about exact battery number on the laptop itself when I contact my dad tonight.

    Whenever you get the battery replaced, you have my word that I will revert the feedback but I will not revert it before its done...ill add in extra good words if its backed up by an act. The act in question is battery replacement so when that happens I will revert feedback. If you are telling me to revert feedback before battery replacement, I would be lying. Plus I waited one whole checking warranty week, i clearly mentioned the product was good as assured but the whole explanation of medium brightness to preserve battery well that I have heard first time. If you feel k you are in any way wronged please contact jshak!

    Asaan rasta yeh hai k aap battery mujhey aisi farhaam kardo jo isi laptop par lagay bhi aur 2 ghantay backup normal usage mein full brightness par bhi day....in the past I have bought laptop from someone with missing dvd/rw from lahore, it was my mistake i did not read thread carefully, honor ki baat yeh thi that person offered to send me external drive free of cost...uski achayi par i refused and told him clearly its all right because I was wrong in reading his thread so there are honorable people like that for which I will happily give great feedbacks....if you would have done an honorable thing by telling me truth I would never have asked for battery or given you - feedback...par tumnay mujhey ghumayi dukaan daar wali topi, bhaijaan mein woh aadmi hon jo intel k boards par 2000 mein overclocking karta tha, tumnay samjha banao isko? phir bhi meinay sabar kiya .tou ab rasta aap k saamnay hai, go to jshak and i will show him the proof myself or get my battery replaced.

    check on the net how much time this laptop getting on full brightness.i sold many laptops on this forum no one did complain abt battery life.if this laptop giving u more then one houres backup on full brightness it,s mean battries doing there job very well,if u did buy this laptop frm any shop they,ll guve u 1 houres battery backup warrenty, besid heckinge this i,ve given u one week checking warrenty for anykind of mishappen but not for refund

    Dude, why would I want to do that? Lowering lcd brightness is useless to me iv never used a laptop in my life with lowered brightness. Lowered LCD brightness or higher is personal preference, do you think movie watching is decent with half bright lcd? I dont suppose it satisfies me and I wouldnt pay for something that I have to run at half its capabilities. If you can sort out the battery issue or get it replaced with something that runs 2 hours then its all right! Otherwise you can take it back, I have no issues with the laptop it is decent but this battery life with the electricity going every now and then is not what I am willing to take.

    I have sms'd you regarding the battery time, please respond at your earliest with a solution as the battery time I am getting is no where near 2 hours as stated. It is more like 1 hour 20 minutes at max, other then that everything else is working properly I have no qualms with the performance of the laptop am satisfied.
