Yeah, they're stupid, first they claimed that their all SB motherboards are GEN3-ready haha, lately it was called a bluff by MSI. They've already lost their reputation in many user's eyes (incl. me).
Hate the way they do marketing, look where ASRock was, and see where it stands today. It was like BIOSTAR a while back, they were offering only good rates nothing else, yet BIOSTAR was most cheaper, now since Sandy Bridge motherboard they just blown every other manufacture like they weren't even there.
We gotta admit that, GA has a bad marketing tactics, I mean look at their packaging, they seem to print every fucking badge on them. Now, look at ASRock, only "Hit the fake and get real GEN3" concept approaches many people to them, look at tactics from XFX as well, the "multiple vs. single rail" gimmick plays in many people's mind.
