No, these kinda specs are for the geekest of tech freaks. lol. They don't need to mention it anywhere - just like you won't find a falcon or jasper written anywhere on a 360 box.

nm stands for nanometer. It basically means the width of the smallest "wire" on a CPU die.

ummm......what's with the sudden panic????I mean shyber is right and if the ps3 gets hot it turns itself of doesn't it? Seriously I don't know why this topic hasn't been closed,it only serves to create restless nights :D.Anyways,those were just my two cents and I don't mean to offend anyone.

It's not like a RROD issue which is mentioned in the 1st post. RRod causes damage to motherboard, cpu and gpu whereas in PS3, yellow light is just a sign for overheating which can only cause damage to fans not any vital organ. I think turning off PS3 when yellow light shows prevent any problem in fans.

we can say it ylod.cos its not like rrod of 360.its very rare,even no any ware in new models.

so tension free gaming with ps3:)

Correct-a-mundo!

But just as a pre-cautionary measure i keep my room temperature to about 23-29 C. According to many guides and FAQs the PS3s room temperature should not exceed 35 C

While Keeping the Air Conditioner on, the console's fan hardly reaches its second stage.

ps3 red light blinking problem

hi guys i m having problem with my ps3 red light automatically turns green on powering on the console the fan runs on full speed and then it turns off and the red light keeps on blinking.

can anyone tell me whats the problem and how i can get it fixed.
