That's a hold-to-confirm prompt, not hiding a load. If anyone wants to check, they can look at how late it's possible to cancel it out when they're playing. Last month I brought up whether we should remove the hold-to-confirm, mostly to address that accusation we were seeing. But it was...www.resetera.com

Newsflash: Baldur's Gate 3 ain't a game by CDPR either. That studio's latest work is a "GOAT-tier spy thriller" that sits below 90 (possibly at 87 if the PS5 version gets 4 more reviews)Not a game made by Insomniac
Newsflash: It is made by a studio CerebralTiger wanted to see get tarnished since Im a fanNewsflash: Baldur's Gate 3 ain't a game by CDPR either.
Ummm it IS ray tracing. The window interiors are ray traced. Wake the hell up Samuraiand suddenly using Alex's opinions for anything other than ray tracing. Poor CerebralTiger getting desperate
Nah I respect Larian. While their turn-based games are too primitive for my liking, I appreciate that they started from humble beginnings and made their way to where they are today. And even now they show no sign of hubris, unlike "we're CD Projekt, we don't fak around" lmaoooo. Totally deserving of the downfall. Even after 3 years of fixing, they couldn't get universal acclaim for the expansionNewsflash: It is made by a studio CerebralTiger wanted to see get tarnished since Im a fan
Samurai you need to wake up to what truly impresses him, instead of looking for the "wins" in window interiorsUmmm it IS ray tracing. The window interiors are ray traced. Wake the hell up Samurai
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm sure Larian worked hard all their lives just to read thisNah I respect Larian.
I mean, that particular win is not only over The Matrix Awakens demo but also the game you just referenced. Not that you'd get close enough to skyscraper windows in that game to notice unless the physics break, sending you up, up, and awaySamurai you need to wake up to what truly impresses him, instead of looking for the "wins" in window interiors
Monolith Soft did make a 90+ game. It just aged a bit lesserMeanwhile, we all wait for Platilulz Games, Monolith Lulz, Mercury Steam Lulz, Houselulz to actually deliver the same instead of CerebralTiger over hyping the shit out of them for every release
I guess we'll find out in DF's year end graphics list how much of a "win" this truly is. Stay tuned oh proponent of "RT is useless" but desperately counting it as a win still when studios don't even give CerebralTiger an option to play witout it. Yikes!I mean, that particular win is not only over The Matrix Awakens demo but also the game you just referenced. Not that you'd get close enough to skyscraper windows in that game to notice unless the physics break, sending you up, up, and away
I can't think of any other game that has used RT for this purpose. If you can, do enlighten me, oh proponent of game changing RT
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAMonolith Soft did make a 90+ game. It just aged a bit lesser
Feel bad for Insomniac, reaching 90 where even CerebralTiger wouldn't give them a good chance to win it all when it comes to GOTY awards. Since Monolulz is part of the list, technically, so is Insomniac still. Next stop: WolverineAnd up until a few days ago, Insomniac Games was proudly mentioned in that list. A moment of silence for Necrokiller coz Insomniac has ruined his life (and no, Wolverine is being developed by the Ratchet team, so even if it scores below 90, the Spider-Man 2 team stays winning)
GIfs literally showing exact same scenario as GTA but the game isn't trying to be GTA when both are open world set in a CiTy environment with vehicles and pedestrians. Thats one approachImagine thinking Spider-Man 2 is trying to be GTA.
Wait, what's that I see at #1? HAHAHAHAHA
I mean, it is ranked as one of the top rated games of the year and is a sure-shot nominee for most GOTY awardsLMAOOOOOOOOO @ UC2 moment. Insomniac needs to win unanimous GoTY by a landslide and be ranked as one of the top rated games this year (likes of BG3 and ToTK) to be anywhere close to that
But you don't use said vehicles outside of a bike, and that too during a side mission. Nah, this ain't it. A plausible comparison for GTA is Cyberpunk 2077, where driving/vehicle jacking is a thing. But said comparison doesn't end well for the latterGIfs literally showing exact same scenario as GTA but the game isn't trying to be GTA when both are open world set in a CiTy environment with vehicles and pedestrians.
Definitely a gem of a game. After finishing the original Spider-Man, I didn't even bother with the side content. It was filled with boring, monotonous stuff. Miles Morales was a little better in this regard, but Spider-Man 2 has so many interesting side activities. Been playing the game non-stop after the main story. I'm sure there are some monotonous missions here and there, but it's much less of a concern here than in the previous games.Spiderman 2 is indeed a gem .
Imagine calling it a "little" win and celebrating a 91. Desperate times for CerebralTiger and Insomniac. Yikes!Lmao @ Necrokiller celebrating his little win after the Stephanie Sterling review
"sure-shot nominee" HAHAHAHAHAHA put that at the back on the box SonyI mean, it is ranked as one of the top rated games of the year and is a sure-shot nominee for most GOTY awards
Its in your beloved NPD charts instead despite being on Game PassBut where's Staaaaarfield, the game Necrokiller had avatarified in anticipation
Even outside of that "immersion breaking" side mission, Insomniac's poor AI, physics and world simulation is there for everyone to seeBut you don't use said vehicles outside of a bike, and that too during a side mission. Nah, this ain't it. A plausible comparison for GTA is Cyberpunk 2077, where driving/vehicle jacking is a thing. But said comparison doesn't end well for the latter
Can't even say that for CD Projekt's most "ambitious" game ever"sure-shot nominee" HAHAHAHAHAHA put that at the back on the box Sony
And Spider-Man 2 will crush it, not only critically but also commerciallyIts in your beloved NPD charts instead despite being on Game Pass
The definition of trying too hard. Every world map has a limit
It did win Metacritic certified awards though and the best one was where it put MEH-troid Dread back in its placeCan't even say that for CD Projekt's most "ambitious" game ever
About the only thing CerebralTiger can confidently say about the game. As for Spider-Bugs 2 winning unanimous Goty awards.....yikes!And Spider-Man 2 will crush it, not only critically but also commercially
Yet the game on PS2 doesn't have the same limit. The definition of trying too hard. Every world map has a limit
Showcasing that no amount of slingshot is overcoming the outdated limits of the world that can't even live upto a PS2 gameAlso, imagine Necrokiller sharing a gif that shows you can slingshot from anywhere in the game
Nah the best one was where it lost to TLOU2 by a landslideIt did win Metacritic certified awards though and the best one was where it put MEH-troid Dread back in its place
So we've established that Spider-Man 2 has definitively crushed a game Necrokiller avatarifiedAbout the only thing CerebralTiger can confidently say about the game.
Yes, it's totally due to a technical limitation and not licensing that the statue of liberty can't be interacted withYet the game on PS2 doesn't have the same limit.
The limit of an underground map being beyond the scope of what Insomniac Games had planned for gameplay. Having an underground subway map for no reason is a waste of developmental resources if they aren't gonna do anything with it. The only reason those subway passages even exist is for the sake of authenticity. And what limit is reached trying to enter a subway station in the middle of the CiTy? That's right. Insomniac's outdated design. Maybe they should try harder for their next game. Not a good look for wooorld simoooolation on current gen only game
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.iampasha said:Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
