Uncharted 4’s PlayStation 5 upgrade will arrive in January




Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will also come to PC sometime in 2022






Nathan Drake is heading into a new generation with the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection early next year. The new collection will bring Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to PlayStation 5 on Jan. 28, 2022, and to Windows PC sometime later next year, Sony announced on Tuesday.

The PS5 version of Legacy of Thieves Collection will also include some impressive graphical improvements, including three different graphics modes: Fidelity Mode, which lets players play in native 4K resolution at 30 frames per second; Performance Mode, which aims for 60 fps with a lower resolution; and Performance Plus Mode, which targets 120 fps at 1080p resolution.

The updated versions of the game will also include near-instant load times, Sony said, as well as support for spatial audio and haptic feedback from the PS5’s DualSense controller.

Sony offered fewer details on the PC version, saying that more will be shared later about system requirements and a release date. The company did confirm that the PC version will be available via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will cost $49.99, but players who bought the original PlayStation 4 version of either Uncharted 4 or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy can upgrade to the digital version of Legacy of Thieves for $10. This offer does not apply if you got your copy of Uncharted 4 via PlayStation Plus.

It can take this long to find a game in just about every multiplayer game I've played. Should I boot up Gears 5 on Steam to show how long that takes to find a game? 🤷‍♂️:LOL:

Saying that a MP mode not needing a remaster because it already got a 900p to 1080p "upgrade" over a 60fps to 120fps mode is as bad as any take can get :ROFLMAO:

Reality is that there is no potential PSN revenoooooo to be had from these less than mediocre MP modes, hence, no need to waste time remastering them 🤷‍♂️:LOL:

Proving my point that even Naughty Dog is not working on UC4 MP because even they don't think there is any money to be made there hahahaha :ROFLMAO:

Changed the prefix to 'Multi', but there's a case to be made for it to stay 'PS', since it doesn't come with the multiplayer. You know, the mode that players like me spent 100s of hours on, and the one that actually ran at 60fps at launch 🤷‍♂️:LOL:

The MP is entirely omitted in the Legacy of Thieves Collection, regardless of it being on PS or PC. Doesn't change the fact that UC4 and TLL are multiplatform games now. And this Collection is the only place where UC4 and TLL run at 120fps at launch. 🤷‍♂️

You, and a handful of others I guess, can take your case to Naughty Dog and see if they care about the MP enough to add it back to the Collection :ROFLMAO:

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
