Hidemaro Fujibayashi is among the finest game directors this industry has seen. Skyward Sword was his first mainline Zelda game as director. As mentioned during the Direct, some of the gameplay mechanics that went on to define Breath of the Wild were first introduced in Skyward Sword.
I simply cannot wait to replay the game on Switch with more refined controls. The Wii's motion controls held back the original from true greatness.
I was never really a big fan of Zelda, that was, until Skyward Sword came along. I remember absolutely hating Windwaker and twilight princess was also kind of a meh affair for me. But SS was absolutely brilliant and probably the first real Zelda game that i genuinely enjoyed. So looking forward to this.
No news regarding the Switch Pro in this Direct, since it mainly covered Nintendo's lineup for the first half of 2021. Perhaps they'll reveal it in the next Direct.

I can somewhat relate to this as well. Although I did enjoy Twilight Princess and Windwaker, it was Skyward Sword that truly rekindled my interest in the series since the N64 games.
lol yup. Glad they got toned down the pastel filter. Game looks much cleaner as a result. Back when I emulated the Wii version on PC, it looked blurry af despite the bump in res to 1080p. This, on the other hand, looks great.
Also, there's no way to run it at 60fps on Dolphin. The "60fps" videos people share on the internet are merely via post process interpolation. The Switch is the only way to play it at 60fps.
Can anybody explain me what's the hype xDDDDDDDD Nintendo decides a decade later to release an HD version while people played the shit out of this on the dolphin with HD texture pack in 4k. People are paying 60$ for this, lmao. Though seeing it's Nintendo fans, it isn't that surprising

no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
