Assalam O Aleikum

Please help me out, I am facing FREQUENT disconnections in my PTCL 4mbps DSL connection (based over copper wire)

i have included all the details in the imgur link given below;

I am facing a weird issue. I am on 4Mbps connection but when i download torrents with good speeds i get speed of 8Mbps i.e around 600-700KB/s which is good for me but with this, web browsing doesn't work. As soon as the torrent is finished, web browsing goes back to normal.

P.S. It doesn't happen with a torrent with less seeders.

Is there anything wrong with router settings or something up with PTCL?

Coz torrents suck all your bandwidth dude ... nothing is wrong with ur router setting or router.

Hmm. I am only concerned because it didn't happened to me before and i have been using 4Mbps from a long time. It started to happen when my router got changed by PTCL and our line is shifted to fibre.

Thats not possible at all.. as I was experiencing that on 4Mbps so thats why I upgraded to VDSL

Does anyone know if it is possible to stop the PTCL monthly bill? I just want to stop the monthly bill coming to my house every month due to some reasons. I already receive the email of the bill every month and I pay the bill online through my bank account so receiving the bill is not my concern. Is it possible? Any suggestions?

why both of you want to do that dont want your family to know about charges i guess
actually i called ptcl for not sending me bill

It's a totally different situation with me though, I am fed up with people asking me for free internet lol. I dont want other people to know if i am using PTCL at all. My family doesn't mind at all.
