SO guys im having a serious issue right now. as my local cabinet got updated my connection has been running since yesterday on weird rates. Here is an image of my connection stats.



Now previously i was getting 2mbps upload and full 8mbps downloads. Now after the cabinet change im not getting full stats. I dont know what is wrong but i contacted ptcl on twitter and due to their incompetency they cant understand whats the issue with my connection. i showed them this image that my connection is not giving me 2mbps upload and 8 mbps download. And they reply back yesterday that ur connection is working as intended. Now i dont know what to do. As i am seriously angry and the ptcl cares guy isnt replying back to me now. In serious anger and agony right now.

Exact same thing happened with me. My cabinet got updated after severe rainfall. Before that I used to get around 2 mb upload. Now, its noway near 1 mb.

I think it's for GDMT only. If you have g.dmt enabled then you should keep it ON.

You should tell PTCL guy to upgrade your connection to VDSL and change upstream to 2094 to get 2Mbps speed .

my ptcl guy doesnt even know what vdsl is. I cant tell them and explain that i need higher upload speeds now. Only way i think it will be possible is by telling them to upgrade my package to 20 mbps so they allocate higher uploads to my connection and then, get the connection reverted back. But that can be done by talking to helpline.

Anyone else’s PTCL completely fucked again?

It won’t load Facebook, won’t load YouTube (not even the video thumbnails), some websites have difficulty opening up and the pings are all over the place.

Yeah. PTCL is barely alive on my end too. Can't even load a speed test. Happened like 20 minutes ago.

This is what I am getting on Warid's 4G. Basically websites are opening fine but not all of the content within them. Your screenshot is stuck at 38% and not progressing any further. Weird.

Screenshot won't load probably because it's in full resolution and not compressed through Tapatalk lol. It's a 1.5MB photo so it'll take a while to load fully.

Seems like the undersea cable is cut again. I wonder why it's just PTCL's cables that are always getting cut.

Doubtful that it's damaged again, one just done with maintenance and the other is still being worked on I think.

We'd have to be really unlucky if the cable gets cut again.

Maybe because we have got a lot of ship activity going on in the Arabian sea / Strait of Hormuz...

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
