how is the sound? and whats that Hi-res stuff they claim? does that make significant difference?
Well i have tested it for about an 1 hour or so on my pc. Without any Dac/Amp. And there's only word about the sound. It's "Bassy" but not over emphasised or muddy like those Beats headphones produce. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. And with 24 or 28 Impedance, it is very efficient. It doesn't require an Amp to shine, even on portable devices like a smartphone or IPod

So, I'm about to go for Sony MDR 1000X/B, they'll be my first wireless headphones, but I want to know couple of things.
1) What's the difference between 1000x and 1000x/b
2) In case of battery deteriorating, will I be able to do something about it?
I'm planning on using them for a longer term, and want to know if they'll serve me long enough. I've already used them, and the sound is really good for the music I listen to.

I could not find any difference but I could find one more MDR1000X/C also so I think B n C is just for various color versions
About battery on Amazon, many asked this and it's not user replaceable but can be used with wire when not charged ... I think with wire n battery dead it's ANC won't work ... you will have to send it for service n replace by Sony ...
It's too bad we can audition anything in this country but if you have already n u like it's sound, go for it ...

My friend got these, and I loved the sound on them. They're as comparable to my ATH M50x when they're being powered, and they're really good for commuting. I've already ordered them through Amaga, they should be here soon.

But HE400xx doesn't seem like HE400i and look more like the original HE400 with Focus pads of HE-400ineed some help regarding drivers of sound card.... i bought sb 0880, i having issues with drivers, drivers from creative website install fine and works fine, but when i restart my PC the sound is gone and i have to reinstall driver again.....i tried to install a third party driver but that wont install

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

L LegacyGamerGuy:About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
