Why not get Razer Core with any thunderbolt 3 laptop n hookit upto ur 2k or 4k display setup
Razer stealth or else Asus GL502 with 1070 is an awesome option ...
But who makes 18inch laptops these daysthe biggest in the market is EVGA 17inch laptop with 1070 ...

But sure there are ver few and far between options for 17 inch and plenty for 15 inch including gtx 1080 which i'd personally prefer over any previous gen mobile gpu.....on the razer core with thunderbolt...it works with MacBooks right? I'm sure we will see new eGPU boxes with thunderbolt 3 like there are thunderbolt 2 eGPU boxes available today so solution will be there

I pair my macbook desktop n ps4 with Lg 34um95 n I think nothing beats a 21:9 gaming n multimedia consumption experience n I'm sure Acer Predator 34 would be even better n LG new 38 inch monsters would be best choice for productivity n gaming

I don't know what extra features u will get with such a heavylaptop like MSI GT80 with 980m sli when a single 1070 is more than 40% faster than a single 980m n same performance like a 980m sli(Asus GL502 costs 1600$ these days with 1070 n m.2 SSD)

As far as MacBook is concerned i think gen 3 thunderbolt is compatible with gen2 so external gpus should be fine though...its just for the worst case scenario though.
One problem that I have is that macbook pro 15 up specced is costing 21600 rmb while msi gt73vr 1080 32gb 526 ssd+ 1tb hdd 120hz 1080p gsync wtfffff dont know which one to get.....waited a whole year for the MacBook though

if i wanted some thing slimmer i would have gone for razor , i dont want slim , plus a 6th gen cpu is obsolete - and u think 2 - gtx 980 desktop gpus cant match a 1070 or / lolll .
ur high ness 6th gen is sky lake
plus the laptop has option to upgrade with out hassle to gtx 1070 / 1080 mxm gpus the screen is g-sync supported , another option is alienware 17 with 4k display 6th gen gtx 970 or the asus 17 inch gtx 980 desktop gpu model --but i honestly dont like 17 inch models

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
