Is Good Matric Grade required for University Admission?

Of course it has. Matriculation form student's base, if you do good in matric things will be easier for you later. And yes 60% is required to get into a university.

Matric marks account for 10% of your total aggregate when applying for ENG, CS, BBA etc. in almost all universities across Pakistan.

So yeah, Matric marks have great importance.

While matric is important, intermediate is far more important; a fact you'll never hear from your elders.

Very true, i got 80% in matric and in inter i got 43% in eng now doing improvement

requirement or not,I don't think you should take any part of your education year non-seriously.Give your best .But intermediate really matters a lot as well not in terms of how many numbers you got but if you really are good in Intermediate,you will easily get admission in a university in Pak when you give your entrance exam since the entrance exam is based on intermediate syllabus.But you will only properly understand concepts in intermediate when your base is strong (i.e matric ) so whether a good matric grade is required or not,you should still study hard for it.You don't want to be stuck in intermediate because of something you missed out in matric .

It is sad to see that people here are more inclined towards getting a better grade rather than actually being grateful for what they have learned .

80+ required for better study , but dont lose logics while pursing the grades

inter marks are more imp. bro. make70/ 80% in inter . u'll get the admission in uni. easily
