Inter-planetary migration is not possible, PERIOD. Wormholes, depicted in Sci-Fi movies, are unrealistic. And technological wonders cannot travel at speed of light.

This being said, planets similar to Earth do not surprise me. Universe is huge with lot of interesting stuff.
Humans will perish one day. If nature is not strong enough to exterminate us on its own, some cosmic events can/will easily do so.

No life-form is invincible.We outlived Thomas Malthus and his population growth crisis, we'll outlive all of this too, and if shit does hit the fan, we'll deal with it. We have an inability to deal with far in the future problems anyway.
