What gets me is not the fact the he had Shireen burned. It's that he took a complete 180 turn from just two weeks back. All this season we have been seeing him furthering his relations with his daughter. He even told her how much trouble he went through to save her. For what? All this?
The writers completely ruined the character. You unholy motherf******. You ruined a perfectly fine and justifiable King.
Fuck you assholes. FUCK YOU

I always found stannis a cruel guy who only do things for his only goal to be on the iron throne , the guy got his brother died and now his daughter , as long as the red head is with him and selling him coolaid of he will sit on the iron throne if he keeps on doing what she asks for , he will keep on doing that same shit .

no body talked about the wall , I feel Jon snow is getting heat from his fellow crows , the little boy looks danger to me he might do some thing stupid

While you are absolutely entitled to your opinion about these things, I fail to understand your admiration for Stannis.

I mean, for a 'king' to pretty much blindly follow a witch and take her word on war strategies over his own Hand sounds rather premature and incompetent for a warrior, to be honest.

What's the worth of a king who can't make decisions off his own accord and has his decision making influenced by a witch that has 'the lord of light' on her speed dial?

He did take Davos' advice at the battle of Blackwater, left Melisandre behind and we saw the results. He threw two leeches filled with royal blood into fire and two of those kings are already dead. So, to him, there is undeniable evidence that there is power in a king's blood. Heck he used it to killed his own brother. Given the circumstances he's in, he didn't have any other choice. All of them would have died otherwise. Try taking a look at things from his perspective and see what you would have decided. That said, I heartily condemn what he did to his own daughter.

May sound strange, but the lord of light is the only God who has shown any signs of existence in the show so far. All other Gods are just stone idols. I'm guessing there's gonna be a face-off between Brienne and Stannis in the finale.

"I never asked for this crown. Gold is cold and heavy on the head, but so long as I am the king, I have a duty … If I must sacrifice one child to the flames to save a million from the dark … Sacrifice … is never easy, Davos. Or it is no true sacrifice"

an open arena, with lots of airspace for anything to swoop down... i was expecting it since the moment the gladiators or free warriors etc lol started fighting, not cringeworthy at all :)
I dont know...the story arc between Ser Jorah and Danerys is reaching Hindi drama levels :p

The ending could've been handled better as well. A step down overall from last episode imo.

Sometimes a person has to choose. Sometimes the world forces his hand. If a man knows what he is...and remains true to himself...the choice is no choice at all. He must fulfill his destiny...and become|who he is meant to be.-Stannis baratheon
Some words to live by ....

Great episode topped off with fantastic acting.
