Got it to work via thunglle with one friend of mine although I couldn't get it to work when I was host even though my ports were open.
Then tried with another friend but it didn't work there.
Finally I decided to **** this shit.
I want to play with my friend not some random dude in tunngle lobby =p. Bts I have tried this method too, still no one sees my servers. I have forwarded the required ports.
Alcadeias: on m end the 'direct connect' option thru others tunngle IP works perfectly...
regarding server hosting download the MW3 server hosting/monitor client from their site. BUT google each and everything first before installing it in ur directory it screwed up my game,, but its perfect for creating servers both online and LAN... tho I dont get that great of a ping when hosting...
since alteriw is down do try the next website which was launched by it's developers i.e internlabs.net
they also have mw3 with a soon to be operational friend system with working invites. they also have dedicated servers custom classes and all that good stuff working.
yar it somehow deleted m profile when I played arouund in the server creation part of the launcher... sooo hadda play again on high xp servers tho bringing your classes up to their previous levels is a pain in the ass.
There was an update which was specifically released to counter the warning given by Activision. But they silently released another update later, which worked just fine. However, they still have written in the Update Log that its not working anymore. But in reality ... IT IS.
I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
