@Khawaja

Friends of mine were doing their masters degrees while working in UK.

They even got jobs after their graduation and started working for offices in UK.

When the law was changed, they were given a months salary and told to start packing up.

ASHHAD........ the policy changed when and where? show us links please?
Bro that was before 2011 right?
The ones who graduated before 2011 get the work permit but after that dont get it.
Wohi purani policy hai the one that is highlighted above :)
The law changed with the new Govt and now International students have to leave U.K as soon as they are done with their course :)
My friends are studying there atm and they told me that :)

So I got accepted to UCLA and UCSD last year here in the U.S. Both of them are one of the best in the world (UCLA being slightly better). Chose UCSD because the city has the best weather in the whole U.S and the campus is really cool.

I'm not sure what's the process for applicants in Pakistan since I live here. But I'm pretty sure you need to an SAT exam. Extracurricular is a must and grades of course. But it's easier if you attend any college in the U.S and then apply the top tier universities as transfers.

I live on campus and the housing is amazing. The building is new and the atmosphere is good. Parties distract once in a while. People are really friendly and studies are less stressful than Pakistan of course. But really, the university life-style doesn't take long to get used to. Everyone is busy doing their own thing. No one bothers anyone and since everyone over here is a "hard working student", they're all pretty much good people.

Any specific question? I'll be glad to reply.

That's what leaves me wondering if I should really go to Canada and finish my final 8 ACCA exams THERE.
But qs remain:
Will there be any opportunity of good internship/s while I study the ACCA papers?
Is there any sort of demand/scope for ACCA studies at all in Canada?
Will I be able to work part-time, possibly in an ACCA related field?
Are there any good established institutions in Canada that provide quality ACCA tuition? If yes, which ones and where exactly in Canada?
I feel that I am favoring the thought of moving to Canada a hell lot more now,but I would need solid reasons to..

I advise you not to take a part time job there. The British pay diddly squats to Asians and expect one to work dog hours to earn that. They are also arrogant people (at least par my experience)

Per week a student can work like 18-20 hours and he wont get paid more than 7-10 pounds per hour I think...Im not sure about the salary thing but im confident about the 18-20 hours of work thing

20 hours a week.

Minimum 6 pounds per hour. Employers are bound to pay that.

People have earned up to 10-15 pounds per hour working for bigger places, offices.

But it is highly unlikely that an Asian will get more than the minimum wage over there. And 120 pounds a week in England is a mediocre salary. The taxes and living costs there are crazy. The last time I went there, electricity and petrol were more expensive than they are in Pakistan.

7 Pound Per Week x 20 x 4 x 12= 10-11 lac, enough for me. Will cover my Living expenses :)

Firms like McDonald Are likely to pay 10-11 then I guess.
How do you intend to live in 11 Lacs a year in England is beyond me.

The living costs are way above that. Waaaaaaay above.

Estimated living costs 2011-12 | Fees & finance | International students

This is how, Remember I am talking about LIVING Expenses only, tution fee is not included :)

Plus you can always work online plus you always have your father to rob :D
What sort of online work do you intend to do from England? Because they're very picky. I'm not sure if they'll let you work anyway. I think the student visa rules have changed.

__

That said, the estimate is for 2011-12. The prices are going to shoot up over the next three years and are expected to be almost double by 2013-14

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
