@TrueCoolGuy, this news will definitely HOT you up a little. Maybe shake you aswell.
Dark Souls Game Director Apologises To Console Gamers
Prepare not to die
For Dark Souls fans hankering for a new challenge, the news that PC players will be given additional content of the notoriously difficult RPG is difficult to swallow. Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition will arrive on PCs later in the year with a whole load of new content and From Software is adamant the additional material will not be arriving on consoles anytime soon. In fact, it feels so bad about this Dark Souls’ game director, Hidetaka Miazaki, has come out and apologised to players of the original game… Hidetaka Miazaki: It’s completely understandable that people who bought the original version would ask about the additional content, however, as the director of Dark Souls I cannot say right now about whether or not this content will ever be available as DLC. But, I want to emphasis my sincere apologise to those players that bought the console version that we don’t have any news for them at this point.
360: What exactly is the additional content? Miazaki: The additional content will include approximately three-to-four new bosses and three-to-four new areas. The numbers are still undecided, but that’s the volume we are aiming for and we will also be including a new storyline. And also there will be more NPCs and more enemies. Players will also be able to wear NPC’s equipment.
360:Were these extras leftovers from the console game? Miazaki: To be honest the idea of the new areas was designed after the game’s release. However, we did have some of them during development but no one on the team took them seriously. It was designed 99% after the game’s release. During the development of the original console version the idea’s we had were small and were thought to have a minimal impact on the overall experience, now we are able to amplify these ideas.
Why would this make me shake or whatever? I already knew that there is almost no chance for DLC cuz thats how From Software rolls. Namco is really screwing the pooch on this Port, Both sides are getting screwed and From has to be the one to apologize. I hope they part ways with Namco and partner up with someone else for their next game.

A sorry will only get them so far, I appreciate the apology and I'll be happy to let this go if they move on to another publisher that isn't so focused on the damn profit. Sony seems like the best choice since From has some experience with them and they also want another shot at making a Souls game.
lol maybe but the spiritual successor stuff was just to create an image of 2 separate games, one an Exclusive and the other a multi-plat. Maybe now they'll go for direct sequels.

The only valid thing from his pov he said in the video is AC dead since Black Flag. According to woke police that game was woke too. Welsh man in West Indies. So atleast he's consistent I guess lol
Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
Phil keeps talking about breaking barriers to gaming, making it accessible on all platforms yada yada, while killing competition and creativity at the same time. the fact that i actually believed him for a second lol
Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.
if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

"These changes are not a reflection of the creativity and skill of the talented individuals at these teams or the risks they took to try new things" ... seems to me that's exactly what it is
