I was running my ZR2740W (27" LED IPS) on HD7770 which had DP port then my card went dead now I'm running out of GPU and my on-board got VGA and DVI-D support. my current Processor can support 2k and 4k through on-board display (Core i3 4130) but its not working as it should. I brought two DVI-D dual link cables and it didnt work for me. One cable is not even showing display (blue light keep blinking) and other (which looks kinda original to me) giving me display but not going upto 2k (Only showing 720P and 800x600) though ZR2740W's native is 2560X1400 (1440p) . I don't know if the cable is bad or a board can't display me the native resolution (It should at least display 1080p)

My current specs are:
Core i3 4130 Haswell
Asus H81M-K (Dvi-D supports 2560x1440 , checked on site)
8GB RAM
Currently running on-board display

NOTE: If anyone knows any guy who sells original Dual Link DVI-D cable (if you think cable persists the problem or bad) then please let me know. I should have an alternative to DP port because I'm thinking to go for GTX750 (Which doesn't have any DP port)
