Mine in particular order:
10. Howl's Moving Castle
Beautiful, engaging, and a really entertaining film. It might disappoint some hardcore Studio Ghibli fans, but for the rest, it's like the prettiest animation movie out there!
9. The Ring
One of the most popular horror movies out there. Although I've heard the Japanese version is much superior than this, I still liked it alot. And it's one of the movies I watched while I was little, and yet managed to understand the story lol.
8. Suicide Circle
Suicide Circle I just watched very recently actually, and I'm still not sure if I'd deem it as my favourite movie. Nonetheless, it is very different from most of the movies, and quite really meaningful and deep, and I liked it alot. So yeah.
7. Memoirs Of A Geisha
A very artistic adaption to the novel of the same name defining more of traditional Japanese culture and how women were treated in that period. My only complaint about this movie would be that it was a bit too long, and although it isn't a bad thing, I just think they could've skimmed over a few scenes and define some others some more.
6. Finding Nemo
OMG I love this movie! I watched it when I was 12 something and it's probably the most nostalgic movie ever for me. Not only the whole movie teaches you a million and one lessons, but also, it has a great story, and is worth a watch for everyone alive.
5. The Sixth Sense
There's not much to say about this except that it scared me alot more than alot of movies (Evil Dead), and it's one of the initial horror movies that I watched, so it will probably stay with me forever. I watched it when I was 9. I hate M. Night Shamalan's other movies though.
4. Dark Water
I loooved this movie when I saw it the first time <3 Normally, any movie with even the slightest emotional values are my instant favourites, but this has a bucket full of it! The elevator scene in the end me want to cry out so loud (mind you, I didn't). This, too, is a Japanese movie remake, but exceeds at alot of points over the original.
3. Kairo (Pulse)
This is probably the most disturbing and scariest movie I've seen in a long long time. It scared me horribly and when I went to bed I was literally whimpering and was extremely depressed over my own life. Do not confuse this with the absolute shit remake with this masterpiece. They're entirely different leagues.
2. Finding Neverland
Probably the most imaginative of all movies. The king of fantasy movies. The absolute deserving master of any drama that has ever been created! This is such a beautiful movie that I loved as hell. Both my cousins and sibling went to bed halfway through this movie, and I couldn't understand why at all XD. I sat through it all though. Worth watching at any cost.
1. Tale Of Two Sisters
And alas! Who ever saw this coming? Engaging, gothic and absolutely beautiful. I fricken loved it. I actually liked it alot more on my second watch because I understood more of the story. It's a very unrecognised movie I tell you that though, and more along the lines of The Sixth Sense but done so much cleverly!
