Xbox.com accidentally lists announcements, HALO 4, HALO: Anniversary Edition Coming

Oh dear. Microsoft has accidentally listed all of its E3 announcements, including Halo: Anniversary Edition and Halo 4.


As you can see from the image on this page, Xbox.com briefly listed the pair of new Halo titles, Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports Season 2, Kinect Fun Labs and a Kinect title called 'Ryse'.


"The news millions of Halo fans have waited for: Halo 4 is on the way. But that's not all..." read the official Xbox site, before the listings were pulled.

Halo: Combat Evolved - which has been rumoured for months - is described as "the epic game that launched a universe, remastered for a new generation".

Kinect Sports Season 2 looks set to feature baseball, golf, skiing and tennis. The page also confirms new features for Xbox Live, including voice search.

Don't get me wrong but they said that HALO 3 will be the last game, but they banged out 3 games after that. Aren't they just milking this franchise now? Considering HALO Reach is the only worthwhile game out of those.

^ Allow me to clear some confusion.

BUNGIE said that Halo 3 will be the end of the trilogy, not the game. In simpler terms, bungie said that they will not be continuing the story of the series after Halo 3.

Halo 3: ODST was a spin off, a smaller game that was set between the Halo 2/3 timeline

Halo: Reach was the biggest and best Halo from Bungie and is set JUST before Halo 1 starts.

And now....Bungie is through with Halo and 343 has taken control of the franchise. 343 is Microsoft's in-house developing company that is now supporting and creating all things Halo

Bungie doesn't own Halo, MS does. So they can do pretty much whatever they want with it lol
