Xbox 360 Wont recognise or Read any Disk

Hello

First of all , I was having a issue with the disk tray , it wouldn't open sometimes, One of my friends told me to replace the rubber, Which I Decided to do

Everything went smoothly , I opened the console , Disconnected the Disk drive , Replaced the rubber , Then I decided to clean the console.The console was cleaned with a Brush.

I reassembled the console , When I turned it on , the disk tray was working fine , not of the previous issues.Then a Inserted a disk , at first it said "reading" then it said "Open Tray, I tried with around 15+ disk which were working fine before , none of them worked.

Any suggestions guys?

I had the exact same issue. When you put a disc in the tray does it make weird sound? If it does then it means your lens is stuck. All you have to do is open the console, open the dvd rom and pull the lens with your hand, grease the sides so it moves easily. Worked like a charm for me.

You could check to make sure the sata (data) cable was inserted correctly. Did you clean the lens at any point while you had the console open ? You might have damaged it. Try checking it its properly connected; you can also flash back to stock firmware and see if that helps.

Fixed it by , adjusting a small screw next to the lens
