Hello
I am currently using worldcall which gives very stabilized promised speed all the time, the major frustrating issue is it gets disconnect during load shedding not in our area but other linked area too.
Heard about connect @ pakgamers nd its giving tough time to worldcall.
Its comparatively cheaper.
Does connect gives the said speed throughout nd also is it online during load shedding hours.
(Both r on fibre optic I guess)

Connect is not fibre optic its like OLD school Cable net, but its really really good

i have been using it for like 2-3 years

now some points that u need to be careful about

IT DEPENDS ON UR CONNECTION MANAGER HOW HE IS,

if hes not good then u will suffer a lot, now it depends on him if he keeps a battery back for his main switch,, usually the switches are placed in the home so for example if there is no backup light u wont be getting connectivity

speed is just fantastic... and its very cheap as well
its media server is great, u will get everything on that...

Connect should serve you well in your area.
I intend to get it too, though I live in Gulshan. Been using Worldcall since the last 5 years but it's been absolutely awful these past couple of weeks.

Well i contacted connect local area manager and according to him, there will be no internet during load shedding. Sticking to worldcall as its not that bad while ptcl economy package as a back up ;)

connects decent for the most part i just hadn't refreshed the 10mb connection so am now on the 4mb connection.

10mbit was a bit iffy, but thus far since i've had the 4mb connection its been pretty sweet. 75ms to sgp and 150-165ms to EU west / east for dota 2 is quite sick, browsing is extremely fast. I don't use dodear very much since I use the main ptcl connection in the house for hd stuff which dodear doesn't have.

my area manager also has a ups as well as a back up generator so its been extremely good as a secondary/gaming connection, especially when ptcl screws up which is too often for my liking.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
