Wireless Service Providers in Karachi

Has anyone used w-tribe service in their home? I'm thinking of switching to it since the pathetic service provided by the desi-cable wala has tested my nerves to the extremes.

I'm currently using Zong EVO-4G and have previously also used PTCL EVO-4G but they don't have limited data options available at higher costs.


Following wi-tribe packages interest me and am thinking of switching to either of them. Any suggestions/recommendations?

LTA-A, 2Mbps, Unlimited @ PKR 1,400 and activation cost of PKR 3,000
3G, 2Mbps, Unlimited @ PKR 1,400 and activation cost of PKR 500

How much do you plan to download in a month? To downgrade from the 20Mbps that zong is giving you to 2Mbps is going to suck. You also won't be able to download as much on 2Mbps - the lower speed itself is a limit on how much you can download. I don't recommend doing this. Get a fiber connection if you need unlimited downloads.

Otherwise look at the 6 and 12 month prepayment packages that zong has. You may find that they are better value for money:

Jazz is another option: https://shop.jazz.com.pk/4gdevices/ . I've heard that, unlike zong, jazz rolls over unused data volume to the next month but you should verify this independently.

BTW zong 4G is not called evo
