WiFi boosting options? (PTCL)

I (plan to) have my router upstairs for ethernet connectivity but want users downstairs to still get acceptable WiFi signals (mainly for browsing and videos). For a PTCL router, what are the simplest and quickest options?

A cheap 300 Mbps wireless N Access point that can be connected via Ethernet to the PTCL router.
Requires practically no configuration and if you set it to the same SSID and password as the main ptcl router, you'll get almost seamless WiFi coverage at home.

Other than the wifi repeater, there is also the option of buying a longer antenna and replace your stock one with it

If the antennas are detachable the single amplifier will be a good choice.

Another wifi router downstairs connected with a long ethernet cable.

Get a powerline adapter for ethernet.

A wifi extender.
