i got my wi-tribe on the 23rd november. At first it was working fine (was getting 3 bars at the most) and speeds around 20mbps. But lately i've noticed that the device is super super sensitive to its location. The guy who brought the device, set it atop the speakers on my desk. however, if i accidentally or some one bumps the desk (like a small knee bump) the device loses bars instantaneously. Even an inch to left from its original position and i lose 2 bars (1 bar on the device). and speed drop like that too. On bars i get around 20mbps, on 2 bars i get around 9mbps and on 1 bar i get 3mbps. and since it has been moved from its original place by an inch or so i cant seem to get it to have 3bars anymore. the 3rd signal bar light flickers now and then but its not stable. its still in the first free month, and i wont be renewing my package (money wasted) should have checked the signal issue during the trial days, anyhow. on the plus side stormfiber just launched their services in my area so now waiting for them. so all in all, my advice to all would be carefully check the signal strength during your trial days if it drops or gains when you slightly move the device. if i had 4 bars or even 3 bars stable throughout, its not a bad bargain in that case.
