well the price keeps on Fluctuating due to Dollar Rupee Deterioration!

i have never used Qmart, but i always use Online websites to buy new smartphones like Ishopping, HomeShopping, Telemart. So i think Qmart isn't an exception.

Non Warranty phones are always cheaper, Consider this example where a Brand New Samsung Galaxy Note 9 DUAL Sim with official warranty can be bought for 130 o 139K. Whereas the same Brand New Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Dual Sim without warranty can be bought for 98K or 95K, so it make sense for Mi 8 lite without warranty being this cheap!
Yeah i understand that but now because of DIRBS you actually need to pay duties and stuff so imported phone being cheap doesnt makes that much of sense, i thought maybe you had an idea about this.

I do have an idea bro, as my sibling had bought an Brand new Dual sim Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from local market for 106K couple of months ago whereas at that time with warranty Dual Sim Note 9 model was selling for 139K in the market.

You're underestimating a lot major importers in online & offline stores they are providing a lot brand new PTA Approved Smartphones which are imported from Malaysia or Dubai.

And they are well aware of this "Dirbs" system as the seller clearly specifies "PTA COMPLAINT" status with Smartphones being offered by them.

Look at OnePlus 6T model which is retailing for over 120K on Daraz with local warranty but the same brand new can be bought from Homeshopping, Telemart, Ishopping for 85-80K PTA APPROVED!

I think you're the one who is lagging behind in terms of development in our local and online retail stores :D

Well thats great news if we can avoid those taxes since they make the phone very very expensive but i wonder how do they work around the dirbs system but if it the imei is registered then thats all we need.

btw since you mentioned so I thought to check but cant seem to find PTA approved written though the price is 85k

I am definitely lagging behind in these developments, now I can think of upgrading too at sometime in future xD btw I prefer physical stores since online stores would be hassle in case of any issue.

Bro all the Smartphones being sold at Telemart and Homeshopping are PTA Approved by default, I confirmed it with both of them.

And for Ishopping look at either the products main description/Name or Especially in "SELLERS NOTE" section where it states that "PTA COMPLAINT"

https://www.ishopping.pk/oneplus-6t-128gb-8gb-dual-sim-mirror-black-price-in-pakistan.html

Bro all these online websites actually don't hold physical stock in their Warehouses but they are using "Drop Shipping" where the actual supplier usually a UAE based holds the Stock and he provides these retailers/websites with actual Products, Price, Products specifications, products photos, Warranty information, PTA Approval status etc.

& upon receipt of an order he fullfils your order and send it to you via these websites, & these websites also earn commission from it.

I have personally bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC Desire Pro, Samsung Galaxy J7 Max from Ishopping without warranty last year.

And Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus SM-G950U model from Homeshopping last week for my sibling.

& Redmi Note 4 Mediatek variant from Telemart couple of years ago.

I had bought a Redmi Note 4 Mediatek variant from Telemart via Cash on delivery but they called me & asked me to submit some initial amount as security deposit, which was strange for me as I had clearly selected the COD payment method. Anyhow I submitted like 2-3K to their bank account and the remaining was paid upon receipt of my order. There order process was slow as well.

Well it was first time experience with Homeshopping and I think it went pretty well, with me ordering a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus via COD service for my sibling. & I had mentioned in order placing notes "That the phone must be Brand new, PTA Approved & in Lilac Purple Color" which I choosed.

So They called me & they confirmed all my the terms & reservations before proceeding with order processing, which was like a breeze through.

Qmart.pk is offering one is Midnight Black in almost 29.5K, you can place you order there with COD service and mention in Order Notes that the Phone must be Brand New & PTA Approved (Even though it will be most likely but still just to be on the safe side, and then they'll surely call you for order confirmation and tell you the relevant details).

Thank you for the help, order placed.

I'm glad that I can be of any help to you bro.

I hope you told them to give you "Brand new PTA Approved" Smartphone in the order placement Notes. Even though it would be but still just to be sure you know.

Anyways keep us posted, once you receive the Smartphone :D

All the best to you.

Loving it so far
I am surprised no one in Blue area blackhorse plaza had screen protector of this phone
They tried fitting protectors of other phones, but none of them fit perfectly
Now I need to find it online

how is redmi note 7 compared to Mi 8 lite?
I dont remember if it was note 7 or note 7 pro which was being discussed alot recently but note 7 has been launched on Daraz today at 7pm and out of stock already priced at 35k

https://www.daraz.pk/-i108984012-s1...2827790.OTHER_5911935225_3884060&urlFlag=true
Its an slightly overrated phone, it has the same Chipset like Mi 8 Lite in Snapdragon 660, & Same RAM 4GB & 64GB Storage Configuration.

Redmi note 7 has a gimmick 48 MP back camera, its 12MP takes better photos instead of 48MP, & Mi lite 8 has better selfie camera, as well as same or better back camera i think!

Mi 8 Lite has slightly more premium design as well.

Go for MI 8 Lite Because, "MI Phones" Like Mi 8 Lite, Mi Mix 2, Mi 8 SE etc are Xiaomi's Higher to Mid Range End offerings whereas "Redmi Phones" like Redmi Note 5, Redmi note 6, Redmi Note 7etc are lower end budget offering from Xiaomi.

Take my advice and Mi 8 Lite from Qmart for 29,499 Brand new without Warranty PTA Approved like i had suggested @
Beelzebub (Check his response below) ! instead of getting it on Daraz for 35K atleast!

Anyways congratulations mate.

gamer11 "Mi" Series smartphones are Xiaomi's Mid to High Range subsidies & "Redmi" Series smartphones are Xiaomi's Lower End Range subsidies!

Though in future Xiaomi will release a higher spec Redmi phone based on rumors, But still "Mi 9" & "Mi Mix" series is recognized as their Flagship smartphones.

Note 7 is a better option over Mi 8 Lite
- Battery is much better (4000Mah vs 3350Mah). In GsmArena's test, Note 7 is like 107h compared to 77h for Mi 8 Lite. Considering these phones have sealed batteries, it is an important factor, when battery life is degraded over time.
- Camera is much better on Note 7. The 12MP pictures are actually taken from 48MP sensor, so it uses all those pixels to have a final picture. It helps in night photos too.
- Screen/bezel are slightly better with less distracting notch.
- Note 7 is year 2019 device launched with Android Pie, will receive more updates compared to year 2018 device (Mi 8 Lite) launched with Oreo.
- Note 7 comes with headphone jack, infrared port, and FM radio
- Note 7 has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. For Mi 8 Lite, screen protection (if any) is unknown.

Just my 2 cents.

Pretty good purchase I'd say. Congrats. Redmi note 7 is slightly better and newer but with a higher price so I think your purchase is a-okay. Enjoy!

Just get a Moto E5, it should be around 22k. Best bang for the buck smartphone, provided you're not using your phone to play a lot of PubG etc. If you want it as just a modern smartphone with all the modern sensibilities and the ability to run any apps from google play store, this is the best thing.
