I updated mine yesterday. Destiny was giving some connection problems but it fixed once I logged out then logged in and restored lisences...

This must vary from console to console.

Sony must & should launch stable updates they have had plenty of time since the console launch. It's a high time to get their sh*t together.

Haha not sure, but as far I can tell. This feature will require a high Upload speed which none of ISP in Pakistan can currently offer :/

I updated a day ago and my console turned off all of a sudden. I unplugged the wires and connected again and it turned on but that defying moment took my breath for a few seconds. Then it updated and stated that report this error etc, which I did and till now every thing seems flawless and smooth.

The verdict is that this update is stable except for Standby/Rest mode. Just don't use it, simple.

As for YouTube app, it won't work in Pakistan. I have tried it. But we can upload directly to YouTube thankfully. Here is my clip of Evil Within uploaded from PS4.

As for SharePlay, it can work on a 4 MB connection but the IQ is very blocky/pixelated and the shareplay barely works for like a few seconds before stopping. And yes, I tested it on my 8 MB connection (1 MB upload) with several people from Pakistan and Aboard as well.

The best part of this firmware is the ability to pause downloads. Also the OS is now very fast and swift. Highly recommended to update to 2.0 :wink2:

I start up PS4 today and every thing worked fine with out the need to rebuild Database. But one thing is still not working. Youtube.

It opens up Fine on my S4(Same wifi internet). On PC its opens up too and plays videos too. Using that https URL. But on PS4 it doesn't do anything.

Amaga said the YouTube app worked for him. I never tried it on my PS4 though. But uploading video directly from PS4 to YouTube works. Just press the share button, save video, and then upload to YouTube instead of FB.
