{Wanted} Character/ Enviormental Texture Artist/Illustrator

Hello guys,

So we (me and 2 German friends) of mine are making a game prototype under the mentorship of 2 Ubisoft heads (one Ex, one current) for a "Professionalization course" (i.e development of business plan, pitching, scope, all the business shenanigans of building a game company).


For this we need an Illustrator / Game Artist.

The concept and game design will be shared after "our talk".

Currently this will NOT be a paid position, since this is a uni project, but you can be assured that since it is a uni project under mentorship of 2 AAA industry veterans, it is bound to be completed, and something for you to show on your portfolio/c.v./ experience.

The project deadline is mid of December 2017. We have 75% mechanics, prototype level, most 3D assets, business presentation, research and concept design completed, the only thing left to do is the illustration.

What we will need :
  • 2 2D background artwork and illustrations
  • Texturing of environmental 3D models / assests (we have the 3D models in grey scale)
  • 2 3D characters > (Sculpting, Design, rigging, animation)


We do plan to work on it in future after the course ends. This will also allow us to expand on this further and MAYBE go to market with it *(in this case you will ofcourse be paid)
