Upgrading Decisions.

Salam Everyone.


As the Title above states i need help in deciding upgrades for my system, Presently iam using the Following:

I5 2500K *Stock*
XFX 6950 1 Gb
4 Gigs of Ram
P8P67

At first i was thinking of Doing a 6950 Crossfire but now i have changed my mind into getting A new Z77 motherboard and getting a 670 (most probaly form pakgamers) so needed some suggestions on my decision.

Btw, i was thinking that I cant avail the PCI 3.0 bandwidth as i will still be using a sandy bridge processor which only supports PCi 2.0.

And if anyone agrees with my decision please let me know of any interested buyers in buying the mobo and card.

2500K is still a beast. Overclock it and you should be good for another 2 or so years. From that money, buy a 670 or a 770. 770 is probably around the corner. It will be expensive but given the performance increase of 780 from 680, it'd be interesting to give it a look

770 will be too expensive and i think a 670 will fulfill almost all of my gaming needs for a year atleast.

670 is a beast in the true sense. Its perfect for 1080p gaming, and even for 1600p, for more than 90% of games.

680 is more than enough for u now....!!!!
u dont need to spend the extra money......
its more then enough for the next two years or more...
save the money for a haswell upgrade later on...

save electricity and use single good gpu, also u need to increase ur RAM!
