Unboxing Zotac GTX 980 Ti Amp! Extreme

So finally, after months of waiting, I have finally managed to get my hands on the Zotac GTX 980 Ti Amp! Extreme. Obviously, the service was provided by none other than @DSM1. I'm literally amazed by the size of this thing, the freaking beast is HEAVY. That being said, I initially wanted the Xtreme Gaming but I chose performance over aesthetic and one thing's for sure, this looks way, way more beautiful in person than in all the videos combined. I'll let the not-so-professional pictures do the talking.

Zotac and Galax have been killing the backplate game for past 2-3 years now, just simply gorgeous. They lay them out like it's nothing, considering majority of the cases out there see only the top of the GPU so having something pretty looking there is no harm done at all.

Ah, yeah. Forgot about Galax. Well, I have a windowed Cooler Master N500. I've been looking for the 760T but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Czone removed it from their listing too.

Thanks, everyone. So I have made an impulse purchase and bought a 6600K, Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 3 and G.Skill Ripjaws 8 gigs @ 2400 MHz(will add more next month) Unboxing on Saturday.

Epic purchase man. And gorgeous back plate. These zotacs have a longer warranty here in Europe, 5 years unlike other manufacturers that offer 3. Goes to show how reliable they can be. Hope your got the Tomb Raider code as well.

Thanks, man. The GPU is working perfectly fine. Didn't get the chance to test it properly since I sold my RIG the next day. Now waiting for new stuff to arrive tomorrow so I can start testing again..
