after 5 years of deep sleep i have awaken....first thing first...pc...gotta get rid of the old trusted stuff.

whats the enthusiast platform these days? X99?

gotta open the old HAF932...the case still has potential its a full tower

need to junk out the 2600K and all related stuff to it, also teh master of its time twin gpu gtx295 gotta go.....infact let me make a list of things to go

1> 2600K
2> Tx2 hyper
3> 1tb hdd
4> 1st gen ssd
5> dominator 8gb ddr3
6> gtx295
7> 3 x 1080p samsungs
8> HX1000 psu

casing is first....took it to the denter today. time to cut out a panel and paint it....

yeah bro, tx2 was my secondary cooling unit, sold the custom liquid one to someone here before i shut it down.
this is the stuff i just got rid of today
going to paint the case red today

first things first...need a mammoth psu- the zalim 1250watt psu platinum is here..order some for goodies as well inc an asus x99 mobo and an asus 28" 4K screen , couple of days left ....

and i got this 8 way fan controller....perfect just what i need...as gpu water cooling will need 4 fans and cpu watercooling will need 4 fans then there is the front 200mm fan so 9 fans in total make it 10 as i need 1 in the 5.25 inch bay for extra hdds.....

Why opted for zalman PSU, I mean not thermaltake, corsair and etc. Actually we seen it rare here. How much it costed you?

wanted to go for quad xfire or sli this time. this psu is rated at 100% output at 50C plus 110A on 12V rail, then it has 4 seperate psu connectors 8pin to 8pin for gpus so perfect for quad setup.
i was looking at 1000watt plus psu in platinum rating and just found these:

corsair ax1500i (out of stock)
evga supernova 1600 (had to import)
rosewill 1600 (had to import)
fsp pro and thermaltake 1500 i have used previously
zalman i used previously and had a very good experience.
