Here it is. Another beast card from the Asus is here for the review. :) While I was hoping that it would be their Top Edition but it is OC edition. But, this time I have the privilege of doing its review before WCCFTech. Here are some pics. Will share the link when the review will be live. I have already submitted Rx 480 OC review. It will be live tonight. Gigabyte series cards arriving next week.

How much is the performance gain/difference between Asus Strix Rx 480 & Asus Strix Rx 580?

is it worth the upgrade over previous gen Rx 480!

Hmm i won't count on it! as i'm a Nvidia user, i had two AMD RX 480 variants Asus Strix and XFX GTR Black Edition gpu's while both GPU on their own were fine, but they were plagued/accompanied by poor Driver support and Green screen of death etc! as a result i sold and got Nvidia 1060 gpu, and now all has been working flawlessly!

While I have absolutely no complaint with the Rx 480, Rx 580 gave me the heck of a time and drivers were playing badly, to say the least. My one night was lost figuring that out. You would find the details in the review.

i had pretty similar experience as you had with Rx 580, that's why i probably switched back to Nvidia gpu's. They always have lower temps & power consumption and stable performance as compared to AMD gpu's :)

Not always though. We can't generalize in such a manner. But I wonder what was Asus thinking while sending this review sample which is silicon bad luck!

may be it was just a review sample and not the actual final finished product, which they sent you!
