Yes, they can be and that's why you should only flash your BIOS when it's a necessity. In this case, I'm not facing any issue but to get the full potential out of the card I could flash the BIOS but then again I won't notice any difference since I probably won't be OC'ing anyway.
... I might do it few days later when I have some free time to OC and all but as for now I'm gonna take a pass.

24 gpus were ordered , 8 got sold out same day as arrived / some 8 odd picked up by retailers in khi / lahore / some 3 landed in isloo , 1 of which u have . and one guy made a quad gpu set up in khi for some 3d apps or some thing .

gone ...next batch min time frame they said 45 days responce was to good ...lollll when money is there then responce is good , i told him what about fury - x they said sir demand nahin hey we are geting only 390 maybe 390x .

Not for me, where did you read that? I use my Ultrawide screen for all the browsing and multi-tasking while my 4K monitor is mostly used for games, movies or songs at most times. I use my Ultrawide screen to manage all the VMs as well, it's set in the middle and 4K one is on the left.
You probably ready about the high resolution such as 1440p which makes text really short to read for some people but I like things short anyway but if you have any issues in browsers and such you can simply zoom in the browser and set those sites at 120-130% by default so every time you visit it's just easy to read for you and alternatively you can make your whole computer zoomed in by using Window's display scaling technology.

I don't like Dell monitors like I told you the other day, they're made for office environment and they have significant backlight bleeding as compared to others and they're totally covered by it in their warranty. They test their monitors in office environment with pretty good amount of light in the room already therefore backlight bleed is not as visible in that environment, if one is spending almost 1 lac on a monitor then better get something worthy specially if their primary concern is gaming. That monitor is not for gaming at all, 1440p with 5ms response time? It also looks like 60hz panel so ... no thanks, I'll pass.

Sooooooooo my long awaited love is finally here, GeForce GTX 980 Ti. After purchasing GTX 970 last year in October and then another one in December for SLI, I knew and mentioned in my previous threads that they were temporary purchases until 980 Ti variants come out and they finally have. I'll be doing same thing like before again, use only one for now and see how it performs and then a month or so later add another for SLI for proper 4K gaming even though a single 980 Ti outperforms 970 SLI setup in 4K gaming which is a plus for me but before I had 8GB VRAM total of 2 cards put together and right now I'll only have 6GB VRAM so I'll be in a hurry to add another one specially after testing it on Witcher 3 which is still giving me above 40fps on average everything set to Ultra and NVIDIA Hairworks turned off at 4K so I don't mind adding another one and going beyond 60fps for sure specially with Hairworks turned on as well so maybe I might add another one later this week or when prices calm down a bit in a month or so locally because right now it costs 85,000 PKR locally. So without any further ado, I bring to you Gigabyte G1 Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti.

So there you have it, brothers. Even though I am totally satisfied with the results of this single card, I'll still be adding another in SLI rather soon like I mentioned maybe later this week otherwise when prices calm down a bit or something.
I'll try and see if I can update this thread with more and proper benchmark results at 4K with a single 980 Ti otherwise I'll just do that on my second thread for SLI which should not be long as well. Let me know if you guys have any questions at all.

Also bro 980Ti is a lot better choice then 970 SLI , And technically 2x 4GB SLI doesn't make your VRAM 8GB , The total VRAM of the SLI config will default to that of the lowest card So it is still 4Gb even with your 970 SLI , and this beast beats that with 6GB ram , you can easily get 60fps with some graphic setting tuning @4k . Try a little overclocking this G1 can easily go up to 1530 Core and 2000 Memory Clock.

I know and thus I picked 980 Ti even though the performance is similar to 970 SLI but you should always go for the most powerful single card rather than SLI for so many reasons and since I am pursuing 4K gaming I can get anything that gives more power and I'm really looking forward to Pascal Q1 or Q2 of 2016 InshaAllah.
I can get 60fps easily in most games and beyond even on Ultra/maxed out settings without any OC but not on ALL games. There are certain games that no matter what kind of tuning and overclocking I do on this card it will NOT reach 60fps constant for Ultra 4K but I'm not worried about it. Witcher 3 is the only one that can tell me to go SLI otherwise even MGS V runs buttery smooth with everything maxed out, some games are maxed out in Anti-Aliasing too which is not even needed on 4K and yes I know that 980 Ti is an overclocking monster specially it's G1 variant therefore I'll be sticking with Gigabyte for Pascal as well unless ASUS or Zotac brings something totally hot on the table.

Just got home few minutes ago with Mobo and Processor as well, will install either tonight or tomorrow. I took some pics of RAM already and will take more when it's in the mobo.

Old system already sold, just have to dispatch it to buyers tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

Got all three parts, I haven't taken any pictures of mobo or processor yet but will probably do later tonight with proper unboxing after eating and all.

I'll just create threads with pictures and not full impression reviews on it yet and if I decide to write on it I can put a thread up in tech review section.
